November 22, 2008 Dear Internet Visitor - Over the past twelve years, at the invitation of Marsha Bonham, Treasurer of Cochise County, we and several of our friends have acquired many of the lots, in what we think are the three most beautiful sections of Cochise College Park, Units 7, 8, and.10. In these areas, we believe we have achieved an estimated annual appreciation of at least 10%. In the present depressed. economy, real estate in southeastern Arizona offers outstanding value in relationship to other locations in the nation and to other parts of the world. Down in Unit Ten, where utilities are not yet available, we offer, beautiful off-grid sites for as little as $1895 each. They are perfect for solar powered homes, now more prevalent as our nation faces energy crisis. Up in Unit Seven, where utilities are in place, we have prices as low as $5000 for a standard single lot, to be served by our community water system. You can buy these lots for long-term, easy to manage, safe investments, or you can build on them now for a retirement or vacation home. We can put you in touch with proven builders, offering costs which are low in relationship to other parts of the country. We can tell you about a materials package for a vacation home or about "Good Earth Homes", plan for you to "Work to Own" your own home. All of our building sites, have the exhilaration of almost 360 degrees of mountain view. This is where the wild west was tamed , but never really died. Birds are everywhere. The stars are big and bright. Two miles to the east, is US 80, at the base of the southernmost extension of the North American Rocky Mountains. In the range twelve miles to the west, is Bisbee, known for its copper mine, and its thriving artistic community. Forty miles to the northwest, is Tombstone of "OK Corral" fame. Five miles to the south is Douglas and its Super Wal;*Mart, on the border with its sister city of Agua Prieta, Mexico, a busy, human scale, city with more than one hundred thousand people, great restaurants, good pharmacies, skilled dentists, a world class eye clinic, and high quality fired adobe brick used in some of our home plans. We built the Starbuck House with four bedrooms and four baths to serve, in part, as our community visitors' center and guest house. We invite you visit us here until December 12, 2008. and between January 29 and April 8, 2009. Our 136-acre "AZ Crazy Ranch", joins Cochise College Park Unit Seven, on its northern side. The Ranch has a private community water system, hook-ups for four recreational vehicles, and a working corral. If you become an Arizona friends community property owner, you can keep your horse at the Ranch for a fair monthly fee; and ride for many miles over the open range or up into the nearby mountains. You can also ride your bicycle, or golf cart, over mostly smooth back roads, to the well maintained eighteen-hole, Douglas golf course, with greens fees presently as low as $10.00 for seniors. Nearby, the city also operates a year-round Aquatic Center, Squash and Handball courts, Tennis Courts, and a Recreation Center with a state-of-the-art exercise room available at no charge to those of us over 50. Arizona recently passed Nevada to become the fastest growing state in the USA! Douglas is on the southeastern edge of the projected growth corridor coming south from Tucson. Thus, even if you may not be ready to move here, you may wish to investigate our investment possibilities. Please click now on opportunities.
